I attended a DPS training course (some time ago) & they said that the photos do not need to be dated if they are embedded into the report which is dated.
But then approx 1 year ago I had an agent who said a dispute was lost by the landlord because the photos were not dated.
Since then I date all photos.
As mentioned above: A case of better practice than required practise.In my past 8 years of working I have probably only done 4 Check In Reports. None of my agents use Check In reports.
All my inventories are done to a high standard approx 1-3 days before the tenant is due to move-in and if the inventory is done well, there is no need for a Check-In Report.Hi. this is an alarm panic button,no key.
We have standard quotes when it comes to blinds that are not attached to safety brackets.
either “Cords long, no safety device ” or “Chains long, no safety device” or “cords with safety bracket, safety bracket not attached to wall”.We use these quotes whether or not the blinds have recently been installed.
Would be helpful if you could say what area you cover.
